Weight Watchers Smoothie Recipes ♥ <br/>(Pumpkin Smoothie & Mocha Smoothie) (2024)

Two Weight Watchers smoothie recipes, one pumpkin, the other mocha. A great way to drink a day's quota of milk.

Many thanks to my sister Adanna for sharing this five-minute meal-in-a-glass. It's delicious, it's filling, it's satisfying. It does use a Weight Watchers smoothie packet but anyone can walk into a Weight Watchers office to purchase a box ($7.50 for a box of six).

Adanna uses the French vanilla, I had creamy chocolate on hand so went with that. It's on hand because the Weight Watchers Mocha Smoothie is my 'summer breakfast'. In the winter, some times, I'll even stir a little of the chocolate mix into the morning oatmeal, a change from the usual 'winter breakfast'.

The Weight Watchers pumpkin smoothie is worth trying. I love it!

I've been wondering what to make from that leftover pumpkin I've been using to make low carb pumpkin cheesecakes. Now I know!

How cool to see this on your blog! I'm a WW member and I've been making basically the same pumpkin smoothie for a couple of years. It's one of my favorite Autumn treats. :-)

I am not entirely veggie but more veggie than not, and when I'm 'not veggie' I am 100% organic. I think your site is fabulous and offers loads of great ideas that might even trick some meat eaters into 'enjoying' a non-meat meal (poor dears, they do insist on their meat and two veg - at least the British ones!). I recently discovered a wonderful recipe for a delicious Aubergine and Black Bean chilli, it's a firm favourite now.
Anyway, keep up the good work!

    Tanna ~ Great!

Kalyn ~ You'll adapt for South Beach, of course. Hope you'll report in.

Melissa ~ Thanks for the thumbs up!

Freyae ~ Thanks so much! You'll see when you dig into the archives that A Veggie Venture isn't 'vegetarian' or 'vegan' but 'vegetable'. Still, most of the recipes are veg(etari)an or easily converted. I just don't want you to wonder what's up when you happen onto a recipe that starts off, "1 tablespoon bacon grease" ... thanks so much for stopping by, I hope this becomes a regular stop.

Relating to any Smoothie you might want to make, including pumpkin, as well as cooking in general, I read about a natural fat replacement ingredient called Z Trim on page 90 of the book “You on a Diet” by Oprah’s doctor, Mehmet Oz. I ordered off of the Z Trim web site and have been cooking with it for a few weeks now. It works well and its easy. By adding a quarter cup of Z Trim powder to the smoothie, the fiber alone which was added makes the drink very filling and holds me over until dinner. They say it is undetectable, and so far I think that’s true. My cooking tastes like it always did and I feel that Iv'e lost more weight than I would have otherwise. Check it out at ztrim.com (the only place to get the powder right now). Good luck !

Just an FYI those points are not correct. One packet of the mix is 1 point and using a cup of skim milk brings it up to 3 points. Adding any other additional ingredients up's the points as well depending on the ingredient.

Hi Anonymous ~ I checked the recipes and the point calculations are right. The pumpkin recipe is based per cup - I found it very filling. And the mocha smoothie is right too because the recipe calls for either 1 or 2 tablespoons from a packet, not an entire packet (which is indeed, a whole point). FYI I don't use a partial packet to 'save' points but because I find 'less is more'. Oh. And the optional ingredients, banana etc? They do add points, just as noted! Hope this clears things up!

OMIGOD I just tried the pumpkin recipe with the following variations. Man-o-man-o-man-o-MAN! YUMMY!

I used cold spring water instead of milk
I used one scoop of Designer whey protein Vanilla instead of the WW smoothie packet

I'm not sure how this impacts the carb/protein/fat numbers. But Designer protein is low carb/low fat/high protein, and by using water instead of milk you get less carbs.

    WOW what a great recipe!
