Who Is Dave Ramsey?

Ramsey was born in 1959 in Tennessee. He graduated from college with a bachelor degree in finance and real estate. He quickly put that knowledge to work as a real estate investor, creating a real estate portfolio of 4 million dollars.

But when the bank that was financing his business was sold, the new owner demanded repayment on the loan. Unable to pay, Ramsey had to file for bankruptcy in 1988.

He founded Lampo group, LLC in 1992, and it was rebranded to be Ramsey solutions in 2014. His company gives financial counseling to individuals and offers multiple online courses on personal finances for different age groups and situations.

There’s a lot of bad information in our culture today about wealth and the wealthy. Worse, there’s a growing backlash in America against our most successful citizens. But why?
